I thought it would be a great time to share with you 5 top tips to get your home Spring ready.

1- Spring clean. Yes it may be a obvious one but now is the time to get out the duster, clean your window coverings whether they be shutters, curtains or roller blinds, get the cob webs out of the garage and wipe down all the surfaces of your home. It may be a big job but it will be very worth it once its done.

2- Clean out your gutters. With all the trees and wind blowing bits and pieces around all winter, its always a great time to get up on a ladder and clean out your gutters. Remove as much as you can with your hands and remove the gunk with a garden hose.

3- Bring on the flowers- Nothing screams Spring more then a beautiful, fresh bunch of flowers. You can usually pick them up from your local supermarket for $10-$20 or if you have a garden, what is more pleasing then cutting your own and putting them around your home. The natural smells are like no other and the colours make your home feel fresh and vibrant.

4- Get ready for BBQ season- If your BBQ sat around not doing a lot in the colder months, now is the perfect time to clean the grill and re style your outdoor living space. You can do this by adding some new bright colored cushions to your out door furniture, popping a rug on the floor and adding some new potted plants to freshen up your space. These days cleaning your BBQ isnt hard with all the options available so pick the one that best suits you and your needs and get it nice and shiny.

5- Pop on some gloves and get into your garden- Now the weather is warmer and the air smells like fresh blossoming flowers it is a great time to get into your garden. Get the weeds out, plant some new flowers, trees or what ever you like and add fresh mulch to really liven up your garden. Its also a great way to get your children involved because lets face it, what child doesn't like to dig in dirt.

I hope these tips inspire you to get some work done around your home in time for a wonderful Spring.
